Stories of Impact

KATE

Foster Mom

KATE

“Thank you for sacrificing your time and taking off work to give to these children.

As a foster and foster-adoptive mom, I can’t tell you how wonderful this experience is for the kids. Many of them don’t have great histories and the opportunities are slim. My family has been so blessed by the support you provide.”

GRACE

Former Camper

GRACE

“That goodness, those good memories…you really hold onto them and cherish them. I don’t think I would have known there were really good people out there if it wasn’t for my experience at camp.”

Camp reminded me that there are good people out there who are capable of giving me attention knowing that my behaviors are just behaviors and not a reflection of who I really was.”

EDDIE

Volunteer Artist

“I choose to do workshops at Royal Family Kids Camp every year because I’ve personally witnessed at camp how important it is to be creative.

During my time in foster care, art helped express my thoughts and feelings. Art became therapy and it has become just that for these kids at camp.

Every year I get to see art bring healing, inspiration, and joy to these campers.”
